Flexischools is an online payment system specifically designed to simplify school orders and payments for parents, schools and suppliers. Utilised by more than 1400 schools and 800,000 customers, with more than 50 million orders processed to date, Flexischools innovative technology and cashless solutions are market-leading.
But their website was anything but. Overly detailed and difficult to navigate, Flexischools enlisted The Dubs to overhaul the website copy, information architecture and design to improve the overall user experience and impact of the website.
With information difficult to find and hidden behind multiple clicks, customer service calls were high, with customers asking questions covered by information on the website. A key part of the brief was to make information easy to find and make it as simple as possible for parents to pay.

A solution built around simplicity
The Dubs reviewed the content on the site and overhauled the information architecture. Working closely with the architecture, design and development team, The Dubs developed wireframes for the new site and brought forward clear CTAs and easy to navigate menus.
As the market leader, Flexischools was keen not to have a cookie-cutter approach to design. We implemented website best practices where ease of functionality was important.
The website was built in Craft which gave flexibility and control throughout the entire process. The Dubs has experience working with a wide range of development platforms with extensive experience using two frameworks in which Craft is built on; Twig and Yii (PHP) via PyroCMS, Laravel and even Wordpress (via twigbridge).
